Palworld has become the second game in Steam's history to surpass 2 million concurrent players. Palworld allows the use of mods, making it easy to unlock more in-game content and gameplay options. Since the game's release, the Nexus Mods website has experienced a significant increase in traffic. Below are some practical mods to help you level up your Palu.

Please note that the more mods you install, the slower the game may run, and there is a chance of crashes. When playing with friends on a dedicated server, ensure that you all download the same mods and versions to avoid conflicts. I do not recommend using mods when playing with friends, as there is a high risk of crashes. Do not use mods on official servers, as it may result in a ban.

Open Steam

First, go to Steam and locate Palworld in your game library. Then, right-click on it, select Manage, and then open the file storage location.

Installing Palworld Mods

The installation process for each mod may vary slightly, so make sure you know which type of mod you are installing.

Pak Mods

Pak mods are used to change the visual effects or add new models to the game. For pak mods, go to Pal\Content\Paks\ and create a folder with the correct name as stated by the developer in their instruction guide. Use zip or 7zip to extract files into the folder.

Script Mods

If you want to use the M key to quickly teleport using the map, you'll need Script Mods. First, go to Github and download and install the UE4SS_Xinput_v2.5.2 framework. After extracting it, copy the mod files obtained after extraction to the Palworld/Pal/Binaries/Win64/Mods folder.
